The Darwin Awards are always good for a laugh. Before they're taken for anything more than humor though it's a good idea to cross referance them through Snopes.

A few years ago there was one where someone had a fuse blow out in their pickup. He didn't have a spare so he used a 22 caliber bullet. The story goes that the bullet went off because of the build up of electrical resistance.

There's a show on Discovery channel called Mythbusters. They test urban myths to see if they can bust them. This is one myth that they "Busted!" In their lab...er...workshop they set up a bullet and applied lots of power to it and couldn't get it to pop. Still a funny story.

I didn't see that one. But, I know that the fence doesn't like getting pee'd on. Not from personal experience though From a good buddy, he got knocked on his butt

Hi Roxy.

Check out the attached image. It's a portion of this web page rendered, with a couple of windows overlaying it. One is a graphic displayer showing a modified version of your avatar placed next to the one in the page, and the other is a portion of a file manager showing your as-saved-locally avatar file above the modified version which is being displayed in the graphic displayer. Note the file size column -- those values are bytes.

I'll attach the modified avatar file in the next post. Please save it to your computer, then upload it as your new avatar image. It takes less than one second to get sent over the wire as opposed to 4.4 minutes (on a good 56 Kb modem connection day) the original takes to arrive.

Note also the increased clarity of the modified image as a benefit to you.
