i was in contact with dave the whole time. dave is thier head splicer and he said all he was gonna do is put a double overhand in the end and stitch it so it cant be moved. i told him not to worry about it, ill tie my own stopper knot. if a 3rd ring doesnt get spliced in, he would just do an overhand knot and stitch it in for other people.

With all due respect, chuck that stiff gray conduit, this is the spec that rocks for a conduit sleeve approach:

Note the minimum radius spec is 2.5", you'll never have a problem with it slipping off a limb when you're setting a rope.
