I've only ordered from WesSpur three times in my life, but in my opinion they are on par with TreeStuff.....and even ahead of them in some regards.WesSpur is an excellent example of steady wins the race in the PNW.
I love getting a deal but I hate price wars, it means someone is losing to try and win later. In the 70's Japanese stereo/television component and auto manufacturers mastered the art of of operating at a loss long-term to destroy their competition and eventually dominate the market. Took a long time for big U.S. companies to catch on. In more recent history Amazon did the same thing to big and small bookstores all over the country. Love the bargain but it's good to look at the big picture too. Here's to sustainable business practices, Wesspur is an excellent example of steady wins the race in the PNW.
I try to support my local suppliers whenever I can, nothing beats face-to-face personal service with folks that know the industry, thinking ShelterTree in North Attleboro, MA for example.

a price war, or a compelling incentive to buy more gear I don't need / can't afford?
The kids are walking barefoot cause they have no shoes, and there is no food in the cupboards![]()
I've seen Kevin B. climb bearfoot a couple times !Well, yeah, but I bet they have the best kid's climbing setups in the neighborhood. Their feet will toughen right up on all of that tree bark.

It doesn't seem to have any indication whether the product is in stock. Treestuff shows shipping time if there isn't stock. Pfanner vents were shipping 2-3 weeks from order date due to a lack of stock, for instance.
