CEO murder... somethings not right

Brian Thompson, the man, did not deserve to die.
Brian Thompson, the CEO, did not deserve to die.
Brian Thompson, the face of an unjust and corrupt system, did not deserve to die.

However, he's now dead. And nothing will change that. Perhaps his death can be a catalyst for change, thereby giving his life some lasting meaning.

Or we can squander it, stick to the status quo, and forget about him in a year.

Very few people are remembered. At least us mere mortals. I am irrelevent except to a very small few. Not sure about Mr CEO. But right now that matters little. I am against killing period. I agree with you Boom.

@Tuebor I don’t care how you perceive me based off my words on a screen. You seem like a severely out of touch coward….. but I’ll cut you some slack, you are mourning the loss of Brian Thompson so much and all.
Well, you seem like an entitled brat, and when you can't have it your way, thinks it's okay to murder. How far are you going to drop the bar? Thompson is dead, so now who's worthy of killing? Give me a list of CEOs to start with.

You have no idea how I think. I don’t give a shit what you think of me either, I told you that, yet you’ve publicly told me how you think of me, but that makes me an “entitled brat”? Keep up with the name calling, and comparisons to Daniel, it makes you look like an immature, insecure child. “My way”? “Murder”? I’ve never murdered anyone. I’ve never even been to jail. How the hell am I “dropping the bar”? What are you doing to raise the bar?

It blows my mind hearing people say health care isn't a right.

And I know you said "health insurance", but in your country the two are practically interchangeable.

May as well say life isn't a right, in which case a dead guy on the streets of NYC is nothing to get worked up about.
Best of the thread.

and comparisons to Daniel,
It doesnn't get much worse than that.

Personally, I think he deserved to die. I AM generally against capital punishment, but would make an exception for the CEO. In a perfect world he would have been tried for his crimes and been punished accordingly. But it's not a perfect world, so some kid had to sacrafice his life to bring justice. How much injustice do you need to see before you pick up a gun? He was a smart kid. He saw what was going on in the healthcare system and decided.. "this much".

The founding fathers dicided to pick up a gun vs England. George Washington became an American hero for it. Not so much in England though. So, it all depends on your perspective.
