Canadian CA Looking for Work

Beantown is perfect for the person who wants to surround themselves with wall to wall Patriot and Red Sox fans, aka Massholes. Some people love it. I don't get why you would purposely live there.

Really you guys are looking to hire Canadians eh? I got a whole boat load of cert's and climb what you guys offering? Haha, Nora if you haven't checked other provinces, the ISA Ontario website just posted a bunch of companies seeking climbers. It's that season. Theres definitely some top notch companies on there looking for help. That and the ISA international conference is coming to T dot next year. Im hoping with a bunch of drunk and rowdy arbo's from around the world coming to toronto that the percentage of hipsters getting a foot in the a** goes through the roof.

As far as hockey teams goes, Boston is most likely where I would choose to settle. Baseball makes as much sense as... well paying overweight people millions of dollars because they tricked people into believing that what they are doing is athletic. I agree with the patriot statement 100%. You kind of make it seem like Hamilton or I dare say worse, Buffalo. If hockey is a big thing for you Nora, you might want to steer clear of Ontario... Leafs and Sens... Jesus, its like the black hole of the NHL. Between Leafs Nation and the Sens Army I wouldn't know who I'd punch in the face more.

Yes. No.

I probably have to work in Canada unless I can get a visa which requires a sponsorship.
But looking outside Calgary for better opportunities while I learn what's possible south of the border, climbing, pruning as well as removals.

I imagine your little stint down south climbing some big trees would have been very enjoyable. I know they don't grow real big around Calgary. Happy hunting.

You long poles were brutal, I only played a few years of outdoor. Poke poke poke, I'd get so p*ssed off some times I wouldn't even go for the ball and just try to knock the stick out of their hands. I was all box lacrosse, god I miss that game.

BC and Ontario are the hotspots in Canada I would think Nora, Quebec too, if you speak french though. BC has the height as far as tree's go, Ontairo and Quebec got tall ones, but were more sprawling I would think. I worked in BC and work in Ontario and theres always opportunities. BC Plant Health care was the company I worked for out there, and they were awesome, very well run.

Frax Im pretty sure you can work in the states with a tn visa. It's allowed through the free trade agreement. All you need is a relative degree or diploma and a firm job offer from an American firm. I did this when I worked in new jersey several years ago.

Good luck!
