Can we do this to a chainsaw bar?

I had a Stihl lightweight bar on my 020t, small saw I know, compared to what you guys are talking about, BUT I did not like it, it was too flexible and I bent it eventually.
I'm small and I agree it would be nice to have a lighter bar on the bigger saws.
