Camelbak

Just went to Wal-Mart and got one. Can't wait to try it out. Got some storage in it. Will hold all of my basic needs. Wallet, keys, cigerates , lighter, change, and 2-liters of fluid.

Yep - I usually use the small camelbak bottle (the adult sippy cup we call it) on a biner. It *hangs really nicely* and you don't really feel it is there. One handed drinking operation. the mechanism for flipping out the spout will get a little full of chips when you are running a chain saw, but it has never been a problem for me.

they make these with just a screw top, too. bigger. i would consider one of these, too, as a backup bottle. Now i just have a nalgene with a special loop for a carabiner (the plastic loop that holds the cap on can't take weight).

it is funny, i use a water bladder when i backpack and hike (a platypus that has no specific bag), but i have never used one in a tree - i think i would need a more streamlined bag for it first.

Anyone ever tried a small bottle clipped to a biner?

Cleaning the bladder is easy, cleaning the tub is harder. I use a small cord and push it through for that cleaning process about once a month with heavy use, I never put anything other then water in mine and it goes everywhere with me. Great invention.

ENJOY yours

jz - filling up a bladder one way or another.

Never let it get empty and then you never have to clean it.
