Cab-Over Bucket Truck

According to the guy that I bought the cab over bucket truck off of, he said FEVA had only made two of these the other one I believe it's somewhere in California. They only made two but they were too difficult and not cost-efficient. I can tell you that the turning radius on it is quite unreal. It turns as well as any small NPR cab over. It has 360° stability even fully horizontal, I have 83 foot CMC lift but this is our first go to, if we can mat it in we'll use this truck. I bought this truck from Allen's tree service in New Jersey, unfortunately he title jumped on me and a lot of paper work later I got it straightened out.

Sweet truck.

When I talked to FEVA about a cabover they were definitely steering me far far away from one. I can't understand why we don't use a lot more cab over trucks, they rock. There are so many nice models available overseas that would do great for this type of work.

I wish Scania would come to America but too many problems to bring them over. I talked to them at the TCIA in Pittts and they said no plans. South America has a bunch of awesome cab overs but between NHTSA and fear of poor sales probably keeps them out. The crash tests have surprising and favorable results. That's on the large size, all the ones I have run the larger 7.8l duramax and 3126 cat with the Allison autos.

Very cool truck. I wouldn't have thought about the rear axle being an issue, but I guess it makes sense.

Is that non-CDL? That has to be the lightest truck I've ever seen an elevator on. Thanks for posting.

i just picked up a 4x4 cab over with aluminum dump on it. wasn't a fan of cab overs but the turning radius and body was a big seller. devon thats anthonys gmc. i remember looking at the truck at the class, well put together.

Is there another truck like this you saw? I wasn't at a crane school last year. I know they are the same truck basically but this is the Isuzu not the GMC.
Yeah I was just asking tree machine if that was him at the crane school course last April, there were 5~6 companies helping out chipping. Thought it looked familiar. Glenn Gerasimek had a nice GMC one before his treemek also. I think he told me he bought it back from the guy he sold it to now.

Yes it's under, I'll take it to the scales soon and report back its tar.
