Business plan?

How many have a business plan written out. One of the requirements in being accredited is having one, something I'm work on. I'm finding there's a lot to it! Any suggestions?

I would hope everyone would have that as a buisness plan!! Maybe I should be asking another question: What about the Accredidation Standard TCIA is suggesting. Good Idea or bad Idea?

I think it's great for the industry. But its tough, lots of time and paperwork involved, Hats off to all who make the effort. We are first in MN and we are going to market the crap out of it, hell it cost us alot . . . . might hurt players who don't do it. /forum/images/graemlins/beerchug.gif

The Better Business Bureaus across the country have bought into TCIA's Accreditation Program. In coming years this will probably be a separator between the Wheat and the Chaff. If you are presently a well run, ethical company it is no big deal other than a little time and a little money to become accredited.

My understanding is that it is set up for the big companies. But mostly it is about generating income for TCIA.

I don't think it is set up for the big companies. They have to pay for and do the paper work on (and get inspected)for each individual office they want to be accredited - they can't just get the home office accredited and let the others tag along.

We are a medium sized company that had 90% of the systems in place already. I think the amount of paperwork you have to do is a relative constant to your size.
