Break in period on new clutch springs?

I hope this is the correct place for this thread. I recently purchased a couple used 200t chainsaws and have been going through them replacing plugs and various other items needing attention. I just replaced the entire clutch assembly on the one (clutch, drum, and needle bearing) and when I put it all back together it doesn't feel as snappy as it use to. It feels as though I have to give it a bit more throttle to get the clutch to engage the drum. Yes the chain tension is adequate and not too tight. I will also admit they are aftermarket parts.... kind of new to using aftermarket parts and I'm wondering if that may be the reason or if there's a break in period for the clutch springs or assembly?

Thoughts?

I would second that on the Stihl OEM parts. Just curious, what was wrong with your old clutch?

Honestly the only part that needed replacement was the clutch drum. The actual clutch pads, springs and needle bearing were fine I was just being through. I think I'm going to try and put the old clutch back in with the new drum and see how that works. I just wanted to hear others opinions on a possible break in period first.

Also there is no break in period . They just break and you replace . Should just have quicker response to the chain and more power to the chain without slippage which I'm sure you already know all this but just an FYI
