Boots, boots, boots

I just retired a pair of HAIX boots with steel toe and Kevlar lining. They were$250 three years ago. Great for pruning if you don't mind the weight, but horrible for spikes. The sole was super flexible but also durable. I used them for logging and climbing, and the sole outlasted the rest of the boot, which is definitely a first for me with any boot.

Nice. So he can resole the unresoleable? :) May change things for me. That means I could get Evo soles on the ClipNs...maybe. Thanks Mike I'll check him out.
Did you ever contact the cobbler T.L. I was curios what he says . As well as what the difference in soles on the two arbpros , I only have evo model?

No, I just got my Clip N's recently so I haven't needed to. I wanted the Evos but they didn't have 10.5 and I was impatient. Not sure I dig the red color but they're good feeling boots.

I asked that question about the soles on treestuff awhile back and the answer was given to me as a 'general answer for soles that didn't have stitching'. Next day off I get I'll give that guy a call and see what I can find out.
