Older thread, but has anyone come up with any other solutions on the rake storage? I just got my rake yesterday and decided to build a storage box for it. This way should I need to load it I can lift one end and slide it vs lifting the whole thing.


Nothing special, just something to protect it a little and to make sliding it easier.

How you liking the rake now that you’ve had it a while?

It's great, I have it on the truck 95% of the time just incase I can use it. It's not able to be used on all yards due to weakly rooted grass, but gets the majority of debris in most drop zones.

I did end up not using the storage box, I just accepted the fact that the bristles would not be straight and that was OK. Here's a video from the other day on a job with 6 dead/crispy Sycamores. I was the solo ground guy so the rake was a lifesaver vs having to hand rake.
