I think Bixler did a great job making this short video of the first tree removal of the week when he visited us.

Putting it here for future video searching.

Im guessing that was the warm-up tree, David ?

Did you do some big stuff from there onwards?

I guess my invite got lost in the post. It happens.

Good job Brian. You're what, early-mid 20s? How do see, or what would you like to happen the next 10 years? Assuming you stay in treework.

Are you there Brian? Im being serious. Not that about Davids monday jobs....but your plans. I think you and Bonner could produce a great traveling arborists video, FWIW. Not sure where you'd go, but what a team, and what skills.

Yep, I'm here Reg, I read that this morning and had some time to think about it, that's for sure. But, I don't really have a good answer yet.

Now that you mention it, I've told Bonner that several times, but he's been busy with other stuff I guess. But that is the dream. All in good time I guess.

Reg I'm 28 years old, ten years from now I would like to have everything I need to not have to worry so much.

Bonner was born two days before me.

Hey SwingDude, no ring yet, getting closer though!

Thanks JP, I was gonna put ' this film is rated X' but that would have been bad.

Xman thanks for the post, it was a fun one to put together.

Really, I thought you were younger for some reason. Well I didn't really peak until I was about 33, and haven't gone backwards too much since that I've noticed....if thats encouraging at all. If you have the inclination to travel, with that girl of yours, you should soon. Because if you decide to have kids, the chances will be very slim thereafter.

Awesome truck Xman! Hey Bix, anytime you want to visit Canada or are planning on it, let me know! We don't have as many big trees in this part of Canada here as you do in Cali, but I could make it worth your while regardless! You and Bonner make some great tree videos! Have to go out to Reg's neck of the woods for the big fellers! Keep up the good work!

Cool! I'll take you up on that sometime Devon. We've been thinking of a moto ride up north eventually, but isn't snow on the ground year-round up there?

Reg, Ashlee and I really need to find some time to get out and travel around. No kids yet, but we have 'the business', and a dog together, so I can only imagine.

Time seems to go by faster the older you get.

I've always thought that there was something special about working with trees, and it can make for some interesting video. Going to film a little bit of Arbor-X was a must.

I'm glad you guys mentioned that about Bonner, maybe he will take me serious now when I tell him "we got big things to do Bonner". But he does have a point... " video doesn't pay the bills Bixler"

Well that depends. I sold a lot of equipment on the strength of making videos....in that people new I must know something about the stuff I was behind, being a seasoned time tree worker....even though a lot of the content was unrelated to the products. I had a plan....and you never know where things lead.

Also, I cant speak for you but I dont do tree work for free, whether I have a camera on or not....so, in that sense it never costs me anything to make a video.

Bonners videos are great, especially the promotional stuff he is doing for treestuff. Trust me its not as easy as he makes it look and sound. But he is clearly a good speaker, and really hits the spot with the visual and points that he's trying to make. Im going to buy a trolley even.

Thanks Grove.

Reg, I noticed the same thing about Bonner, Treestuff is lucky to have picked him up so early on. You can't buy a voice like that. Maybe you can talk to the 'higher-ups' over at STEIN and get us a gig. The problem for me and Bonner is that it takes money to make money, and neither of us have any. Either way, maybe now you mentioned it, he'll take things more serious and start making some decisions in life. For now, DAVEY has him, like 40+ a week!

No we have snow from late November til mid to late march depending on the year, we murph the trees on the frozen lakes in the winter! Can't wait to haul them off with my new mini this winter! I work year round, just a pain in the arse getting equipment around sometimes! I live more in the country part then the burbs!

nice to meet you Bix . Well done . Can't promise you the future is bright in this bizz , but you and X got it going on . X games 2014 ? see you there . maybe the expo next month. X man did run them logs , wheres that vid?
