BiX Crane Pine

Thanks RopeShield, we were out of there by lunchtime. And, yes I did... we're going on four years now... I'm sure by this time she just figures it part of the job.

Jomoco, the picks your talking about... the 8:12-9:00 pick I thought the same thing. Initially I was going to place the shackle at 6 o'clock being that the crane was sitting at 12 o'clock. Before I did I checked in, the CO mentioned he wanted it on his side, i figured because of the limb weight being 12 o'clock to keep the chunk more balanced.

One thing I do like about the next pick @ 9:50, is how he was able to slide that piece away from me.

The pick at 10:30 by the wires, I did do one-hand the 660 (36" bar), gave it a little extra at the end, but had the saw shut off well before it ever left the cut.

But the thing that bugged me the most was the picks not being rigged and cut to go directly at the crane's center pin.
