Bid that tree!

I've seen and heard of enough clear cutting operations that were irrational. Years ago I had a property in Concord, VT on a class 4 road where a prior clear cutting operation toward the CT river created a lot of anger and controversy. I'd hope there would be more conscientious workers who'd just say "no" to wholesale clearing and removals.

75'+ Hackberry removal. All the stuff in the driveway will be moved outta the way. I include some midway shots to show more of the interior of the bush; more curious how many hours you'd be thinking than a price.

That's what I said! But nooooo no no. I got it to the second pictures on the first day with two good groundies, and then they were upset that I was telling them that I was gonna need a third day to get it all cleaned up with our equipment. After the boss got involved and saw what a monster this thing really was, it was acknowledged that I was right. We still rigged it out and he used nearly the same rigging setup I had setup that first day. The pictures really don't do it justice. She is hefty.

Took 28 man hrs: a day to rig it down, drop the peg, and winch up the logs, then a few 1 hr round trips of hauling logs and equipment, half hr of chipping. Mini made brush bundles and used the pto winch to twitch material up and around the septic. IMG_1174.webpIMG_1173.webp

And in the snow! I don't like how much harder everything gets as soon as it freezes
 
Ok I got one…
Big white pine complete removal. It’s about 42” dbh with a slight lean toward the home which is about 15’ away. Good drop zone otherwise and in the front, flat yard
