Best rope type for lanyard?

Wow. I feel old school.... I use Blue Water 10mm static rope. Or, 10mm Beeline.

But, every other suggestion here is awesome.

I'm gonna stick with the big fat ones, 5/8 3/4. Nice on the hands and really what weight difference over 18'. And don't say nothin' about my girlfriend.
