Looking to get a good grapple rake for my mini skid I see several out there some with one piston some with two anyone have any good input Thanks.

If they're anything like the full size versions .... the dual ram version with one grapple per cylinder has one advantage i can think of. You could clamp down two separate sized blocks of wood or other objects. Hope that helps in your decision.

My customers seem to like the Blue Diamond 50" dual tine grapple, I bought one for myself but a customer wanted it before I got to use it.

That's a nice design. I also like the ones with longer bottom "tines". They can carry a lot of brush. Plus they're flat on the bottom like a bucket. You can do a little sifting with it if you were removing rocks out of a yard.

The guy I have in mind had his custom. Made on the bottom portion. They are of 1.5'' bar stock. He has it on a regular skidsteer and slides it under logs with minimal turf damage. If your not in a hurry I'll see if I can get a photo of it.

I just ordered one of these today.

Was looking at buying a blue diamond but the dealer wanted $2300 before taxes, no hoses or couplers. And a 4 week build time. Marks supply had the CID on the shelf shipping Monday for under $1200 to my doorstep with hoses and couplers. I have been very happy with the other CID attachments that I have. And may look into a couple others with the reasonable pricing.

Received the CID grapple last night. Looks very well built especially with a small wheeled mini. I played around with it in my yard and loaded the dump trailer with some brushy debris I've had laying around. I noticed right off the bat I loose about 4'' of lift compared to my bucket due to where the attachment plate is attached. Not a deal breaker because I had to take the boards off the trailer with the bucket as well.
The hoses and piston on it look small, but I have to remember it's a small grapple.
Even the wife liked it. She started talking about cleaning the gardens out and using it to pick up the debris.
Guess we will see how it holds up!!

@DTS sorry it's taken so long every time I try to get to this job it would rain and soften up the lawn. Finally got it cleaned up today. Just some brush, but that's really what I bought the grapple for. I like the BMG for wood and feeding the chipper.
