Bed liners

So I just bought a new pickup and it does not have a bed liner. I was thinking a spray on as opposed to a drop in. What are your thoughts on one vs the other? If you like a spray in which type? I know there are two major brands, line-x and rhino liner. Which do you prefer? Thanks for any thoughts.
Cheers

I've never been a fan of the drop-in liners. Dirt and moisture get trapped between the liner and bed. The only downside of the spray-on is the friction. Not so easy to slide things around. I don't see that as a negative but some do.

Agree. I hate water getting trapped between bed and liner. No way to evaporate. Just begging for rust problems. I also hate how stuff (saws) slide everywhere on a smooth liner.

My knees dislike leaning on the ridges of a liner. Sheet of plywood addresses that.
Roadsalt murders vehicles up here...anyone trying to preserve their truck for the grandkids to inherit is delusional. I'm a lot less concerned about moisture under a liner than the slow death being inflicted on fuel and brake lines, crossmembers, frame rails, etc.

I like the spray types but more for undercoating. For beds I like the drop ins. Easy to take out and wash beneath. As mentioned, easy to grab contents and slide to tailgate. Also the corrugations resist dents to the bed where spray ins do not. On another note some DIY spray ins, (brush/roll ons) are easy to apply, and some give good reviews on them.
