Bandit 2550 issue

I'm having trouble with the swing speed of my stump grinder. It travels quite a bit faster swinging one way compared to the other. I'm at a troubleshooting standstill. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks

I'm not that familiar with your machine. This is from the troubleshooting section of a Carlton manual:

Cutter head swings faster one
way than the other.
• Counter balance valve is
out of adjustment.
• Adjust counter balance
valve to equalize swing
speed.

There is a knob that controls speed and you can call bandit service department they will help you out.

Bandit is MIA I guess with hurricane clean up? Anyway counter balance valve is out of adjustment but how do you adjust it. I can't find anything in the manuals and have found the end of the internet. Still nothing.

Idk how old your machine is. But on my 2800. One of my pistons was failing so it reduced the swing speed on one side. Had it rebuilt and now it's all good

It's a 2014 but the engine is brand new. I wouldn't think it would be a piston but it's anyone's guess at this point. Even Bandit is stumped :|
