1997 Bandit 150.

Infeed is eating brush like a turd. 4000hrs plus. Can only handle 2-3 inch material.

Can you help me trouble shoot. I feel like I am up to speed maintinence wise...

Are my hyd motors bad? How do I test them?

Thanks

Might wanna check for a clogged chute, check belts, open up the disc hood and make sure there are no clogs, and check anvil.

Does it bog down on the brush? Does it seem the feed rollers aren't grabbing properly?

Hey guys,

First of all thanks for the feedback help. It turned out be relief valve related. The spring in there was shot. So replaced the innards of that valve, and then hooked up to a pressure gauge and reset pressures.

I ended up calling my dealer A Lewis Bandit, in Middlesex, VT who I bought the machine from. He had the kit waiting when I pulled in his dooryard, and we spent the next couple hrs tinkering and making sure that was really the problem.

Huge shout out to 'Uncle' Abe. If you havnt dealt with him, you should, he is retiring in the next few years and is a true statement to the old school practice of good business and service!

Boo yaa...nailed it. Could have saved ya some dough if you wouldve checked out your blog earlier. Glad to hear it was such a simple fiix though...motors aren't cheap; even on that sized unit.
