What kind of soil and how deep?!? A lot of us can pull that off. I mean, I can't at my house, since it's nearly solid rock only 30"-50" down anywhere that its' not near the rim of a rock bowl.
Coastal plain , very sandy soil. Definitely is the game changer , easy work here! I used a Kubota kx 33 or u 35 model mini ex and would dig as deep as excavator would allow and that was more than sufficient & deep enough to bury it and it has not come back. I’m talking big thick developed rhizomes mat. One or two times Olympic sized pool or larger stands of that crap on a couple occasions . We chipped the shoots first (that sucked but sharp knives help) -then buried the load from that and kept on ripping root mat & filled in our “bamboo death pool “ kept all debris a solid 6 or more feet deep , never to return thus far !
