I dont know if husky still makes them but I used some tools similar to this in the early ninties.
Id rather climb but still think these tools were great for certain jobs. Problem was that they both telescoped in 3 stages and althouhg the poles were light, it was very floppy fully extended and I managed to break the cheap couplers where the poles locked/unlocked. I swear, I cant have ANYTHING nice.
The version I used didnt have the silly spring crane assist thingamajig.
We also had a lopper version.
