Or how we will cal it otherwise?
So I volunteerd to join some climbers at a day aranged by the Dutch Tree Foundation (www.bomenstichting.nl). I left at 07:00hr on sunday for a 2 (two) hour drive to the site. We or mostly others set up a workclimg, footlock and a childrens climb. Workclimb to show visitors whats work about in a tree and to demonstrate that a crown can be reached without cranes/buckets etc. The footlock was simple showoff and/or play. The childrens climb was and is a real HIT. Some nasty little guys got up fast! Very fun to see those parents and children /forum/images/graemlins/grin.gif
Also some more events were at the site, like booktellings, workshops, dance-theatre, walking route with some 'do and learn' things, musicians etc.
We had a very nice day with some 10 or some more treeworkers and some others visiting by. After a drink and meal at the end of the day we drove home at 21:00hr and i got straight in bed at 23:30 tyred as a dog (had also to get up at 05:30hr the next morning to start crews up
Ill stitch some pics in next posts, see that nice 'freeclimber', I wish these 'elfs' fly around all day in a tree
)))))
