Does anyone out there use an Avant loader and attachments? It looks like it could be useful in a large park (2000 acres). I would love to hear feedback either way!

You are happy with it, no significant problems? I wear two hats, Horticulturist maintaining high traffic facilities and BCMA doing tree work mainly in fall and winter. I also have a 14 acre tree nursery.
 
Great machine, very happy with it.

I would never buy one without getting the optional 4 wheel lock up. (Heated seat too for that matter.)

I just thought - you may not like the ride. Explaned in one of his youtube vids.

I'm happy with my 528 with a branch manager grapple.
2 issues so far: if the horn button is hit, it will blow a fuse and shut the machine down and my heated seat no longer heats.
It is a 2015 with 850 hours.
 
The Avant 528 is great machine sold close to 40 of them
Butt, the Giant 254 is proving to be a better machine for a number reasons,

It would be interesting to see the Avant 528 in the comparison instead of that little zahn. I think almost anything else would look good next to it.
Even the 420 would make it look rediculous.

The 420 is superior to the Zahn - I have owned and operated both
No comparison Zahn to 528

that said for what the zahn is its a great "baby" under 36" wide machine
Avant cannot get under 39" wide -
only the Zahn and Giant can get under 36" in Articulating machines
 
Going to be demoing an avant and a giant this fall. How is it using a stump grinder attachment on these machines? (Like a 38 special?) Is vision better or worse than with a mini?

your horn is shorted out, either disconnect horn to eliminate blowing fuse or replace horn
