I get wonder gloves for .60 a pair I beleive. Bought a dozen pair last time, bought locally. Depending on what I am doing the gloves might last part of a day or up to
3 days before they aren't used by me. We all wear the gloves, the gloves get washed before being used the second time. At some point Sherrill changed their wonder glove to some super thick molded glove, I believe I ordered around 100 pair.... they are sitting out in the shop, unused.

Nick, I thought you played with my iron clad gloves? They were in the map pocket of the passenger door... anywho IMO they are terrible for just about anything. Running the ropes is about it. Atlas's are either too thin to prevent the rope from burning me or to thick to allow dextarity.

I have never had a glove last 10 days of climbing!

Schwabisch, which model are you using? Can you grip as well as you can with the blue atlas gloves? That's my fear if I switch to ironclad.

I've been climbing on a pair of Ironclad "Cold Condition" gloves for a year, they're good gloves, hold up to abuse. They don't compare to the Atlas for grip. What grippiness they had has mostly worn off the palms. I still use them when I'm using a handsaw, footlocking the tail DRT or for SRT when super grip isn't required. What's nice about them is the excellent finger dexterity for tying knots in cooler weather. As far as I can tell there is no perfect climbing glove, need to carry a couple of different pairs to cover the bases.

thinking about buying a dozen of the nitrile atlas gloves (black and white) found them for 33.99 plus 9.99 for shipping, for a dozen that works out to be about 3.62/pair. What do you guys think about that price??

I think thats about what I paid last time. I ordered from Redden Marine Supply.

I can't hardly climb anymore without a pair of the thin nitrile coated Atlas gloves. They hold up fine for me. But on the ground all they do is drive the Boxer!

I will post were I get mine again. They are only $3.08 a pair if you get a dozen and they have free shipping. They have some really cool gloves there. I got a pair of winter gloves with a mouth piece on the back palm that when you blow into it, it sends the hot air through out the gloves to warm your hands. And they work pretty good too.

come up to MN in Jan for some cold! it was 5 below here Monday
I'd hook a tube to my 200's exhaust on that mouth piece,

It only happens for a week or two a year, and I'm usually not working then.

Still, I wouldn't mind a pair.

I use atlas gloves all the time here. If the temps are 50 or below I will use the Grey Thermal ones. What I have discovered is that using mechanics nitrile rubber gloves under the Atlas gloves is a good combination. Especially here where we work in cold wet conditions all the time. It also is nice when you need dexterity but don't want wet hands.

My friend Tom just puts on multiple pairs of them with no outer glove and as they rip he just pulls them off and just keeps working.

thanks for the link 020, since that place ships ground for free it works out to be cheaper, good thing I didn't order them yet...

that heat system glove is trippy, I'd be all over that one if I lived on the mainland... how much do you get them for?

Jon, just so you know you can pick up Atlas style gloves locally for a pretty good price too. The Gaspro store over at the Ewa end of Dillingham Blvd carries a glove that is the same style as the Atlas, but IMO is a little bit better. More comfortable and they seem to last a little longer. They look exactly the same with the blue rubber, except that the woven part is gray. They are about $3.30 a pair, so it's a few cents more but sometimes you need something in a hurry.
