I'm sure that the ASPLUNDH crew is not going to use company equipment to do the job. The trucks are all equipped with GPS units now and there is 100 percent accountability of equipment 100 percent of the time. If the bucket trucks leave outside scheduled hours the home office will know. And why do you generalize? "ASPLUNDH" did not steal your job, someone on that crew stole your job. Yes, they are not suppose to solicit work on company time, but how long does it take for you to look a the tree and place a bid? Oppurtunity knocks, and they took advantage of it. It's a tough world out there, so one better have thick skin....

ARE YOU KIDDING? The only way these idiots could do the job was with a bucket truck. And is WAS ASPLUNDH equipment that was in the yard doing the work.
I don't give a crap about vehicle GPS. These clowns were working in their localized area, so their home office hasn't a clue what went on.
You asked me how long it takes to bid a job? When its a technical removal involving life and property you can bet your a$$ that I'll spend more than an hour or two thinking about and planning the rigging plan.
I know its a tough world out there, but I don't go around trying to get work away from others. Don't tell me about thick skin, I have it.

I'm not kidding I'm just letting you know the facts. Furthermore, instead of complaining to everyone here--wasting time in my opinion--do something about it. What is it going to do complaining to all of us? I guess we'll just jump on the bandwagon and go on Asplundh buzzy control and take pictures like Boston Bull suggests. It's a tough world out there.
