These are the sort of thing that add the spice to the utility climber's life.
I've been shot at, had dogs sicced on me, be spat upon, had a GOAT sicced on me (don't laugh too hard folks, but just between us chickens....that goat almost got the better of me....stupid sucker punchin' goat....), but then again, I've had POSITIVE interaction from women of varying ages/walks of life due to line clearance work, especially during storm work when you finally get to look like the hero instead of the bad guy.
This is what I miss about line clearance work. Rarely a boring day and always the possibility of something really interesting happening. When I meet someone new, I can tell any number of stories from my line clearance days. Most folks never get to live such interesting lives. Here's to us gentlemen.
