Ascender Hitch

[ QUOTE ]
Come on back Mr. Bob! Was the question about arborists first making use for knot tender ever answered?

I do not understand the question about the knot tender.
Was it part of this thread or in some other thread?

close up shows how the mini clip with semi captive eye grips the cord and hold the pulley in place close to the hitch so no slack to move before the pulley does its job.

Tape up the tail end of that double fishermans rupe!

The micro pulleys with the static side plates are better than the one your using there which has the side plates that spin around. I switch to the static side plates micro pulley and found it never jammed up.

What kind of friction hitch rope is that?

Is that a distel?

Its only going to be on that rope for a week or so, enough tail there so tape wont make much difference.

Never had any problem with it jamming, you need swivel side plates that are close together to get them into the little clip.

Its Lyros 10mm

No its an ascender hitch/helical, thats why I put the pics here!
