I've talked to tree companies in my area as well as friends who own tree companies. They have all used different types of software to better manage their tree care business and always seem to have some kind of issues with them and eventually abandon it. I have noticed in my line of work (UVM) most of the apps I have used have been pretty terrible as well and it seems like the same goes for the residential tree service apps. I have seen mixed reviews about most current tree service apps with none standing out as an industry leader.
In response to this I started working on an app with my software engineer friend. We have started to build a simple app that would meet the needs of friends/local tree companies that we have talked to already. The goal is to make an app that focuses on simplicity and not an app that does a lot of things and none of them well. We are looking for people who feel the same frustrations about the software they use. We want to extend an invite to people that are willing to share their feedback and give them a chance to shape our app into something that they would enjoy using.
