36x36. Zip up vents in rear thigh area. Worn 1 cold weather season. I would rate them at 90%, I only found a couple nicks in the rubberized abrasion area. Very nice pant's for fall and winter use. $100.00 Shipped

Hi oldoakman, I'm on the Arborwear Product Development Team and I was wondering what size are you looking for that we currently do not have? Maybe I can help!
Well, since you asked, First of all, I am what one would term a "plus sized" climber. I am 6'4 and hover at 290 out of the shower. I have been at one point, almost 350 but that was a while ago. I have been in the industry and climbing for over 40 years. One of my goals when I decided to loose the excess weight I had accumulated was to get to a size that I could use the climbing pants that are available. Unfortunately, the only ones available that fit me well are SIP Progress pants in XXL. They are excellent pants and I have 5 pairs of differing ages. They wear like iron but they are a bit pricey and very few supply houses carry them. To my knowledge, only Bailey's has a dependable supply of them. I have tried Cloggers but the cut is not quite right for me and I am unwilling to spend the extra for custom fit and Phanner sizing is just out of range. Which brings us to Arborwear. I like your products and have quite a few of them, Canopy jacket. Tech T's and I especially like the Transpiration T's, both long and short sleeve. The only thing you don't make in my size (42-44 waist, 32-34 length) are Ascender pants. I have personally and face to face begged Bill and more than once to try a short run of Ascender pants. If you ask him about this, I'm sure he will confirm. The ability of these type pants to stretch and give unrestricted movement along with their durability makes them something that everyone on a crew would want, not just climbers. I completely understand that this is a dollar issue and that to produce a run of larger sizes without a guarantee of selling them is a risk, but perhaps an industry survey would help. TCI Expo is coming up soon and I know you will have booth there and sell a lot of product. Maybe start there with a quick questionnaire and see just where this goes. Thanks for considering this and listening to my rant.
