I am looking into upgrading or communication from our older Sena units. Is anyone using Sonetics units?

Thanks for your reply! I sent you a PM about maybe trying to talk on the phone. We use Sonetics. They are expensive. However, I would say the noise canceling is the best I’ve seen. For us that’s a must. We always have someone using a piece of equipment, so it’s huge. The range is ok. You have to have a “base station” that each headset connects to, and you really need to have good line of sight to keep everyone connected. Each base station holds connects up to 5 headsets. So we have two base stations s that connect to each other so we can have all 8 of our headsets connected. The biggest downside is that you have to have the base station. So if crews are changing a lot you need to always make sure each crew has a base station and you’re probably reconnecting to the base station each morning. That process is simple. If nothing changes day to day, they are real nice. Just turn you’re headset on and you’re connected, if within range.
Customer service is pretty decent. We’ve had ours for close to five years and just sent each headset back to sonetics to have them refurbished. We did it one at a time so we did t lose out day to day.
All in all they work good for us. Other situations might not like some things. Let me know if you have other questions.
