I ahve only seen the hip live once in Carlisle at
a Blue grass festival. It was the most out of body
and mind experience I have ever had
the energy they give off is intense exponentially.
One of my long lost memories of foolishness and youth.

He first shows up at 00:59 then next at 1:09 on the ski trainer and a couple more times.

He was 74 at the time and doing extra work and modeling for an agency called Real People. I think he got a kick out of being in a rock video for a band his kids and grandkids listened to.

He also did a Leaf Nation ad for Bank of Montreal a few years after that. The posters were up in branches all over T.O. with him in a suit looking sternly out at you with "Leaf Nation" written on his forehead. That was cool since he and his brother played for the Young Leafs. A die hard fan.

The Hip are a great Canadian band. Their music is so much connected with Ontario.

Just saw these guys live in Montreal a few months ago. Still killing it. Moshpit for two hours straight. Soaked with sweat walking to the car with no shirt, pants rolled up over my black lineman boots. Couldn't have felt better.
