This is a huge issue which I’m very passionate about. I have a background in herpiculture, and it depressing how many of these animals are dumped (or allowed to escape).
There are many population of various species which have established successful breeding colonies. Florida is a massive reptile importing state due to their very loose exotic pet laws.
