An angry little bumble bee - MS150TC

I just purchased and modded this little MS150TC for Ted, aka TcTreeSwinger. These little saws run fantastic after just a little work. They're only 23.6cc and weigh 5.7 lbs., yet they run like this!

That is one Bad Azz little 150! Did you advance the timing as well as the rest of the other Mods, Brad?

Yes. MM, timing advance, and removed the carb limiters.

How does it compare to the 201t? I know there's a big difference in price between the 2

The 201 is quite a bit stronger, but it's also quite a bit bigger and heavier.

It's Supposed to " be a pruning saw" but I've been using it on conifer removals until you get it limbed and the top off then I call for a bigger saw. It's just so light and powerful and hard to put down! I know it's no replacemeant for the 200/201. But for pruning and conifers it's great!

I really like my MS201TC-M, but I always take one of my stock MS150 saws up in the tree first.

I just got my saws back from Brad , I'm extremely pleased with how they rip now. First day back The 150 took down a 24 inch dbh white oak down to the spar, no problem. It just keeps pulling and pulling now.. totally different saw from stock.. Thanks again Brad!
