Alt Saluting Branches scheme

This morning I was driving home from a consultation and Saluting Branches came to mind. For many years a friend of mine and I have been a team for the day. Since SB is cancelled our team is idled

But is it? Why do we have to miss out on a day of service?

Paul and I will find a way to give our work to some entity. Since it will be a team of two we can easily follow any C19 protocols.

I know that I’m not the only one who wants to have a day of service. The 2020 version will be much different. find a couple friends or go as a crew to do what we do. In honor of others.

Snow Its time to brain storm for a project. Some points on my criteria for picking a project, just mine...add some ideas for others to consider.

Not religious
Not political
Shoestring operating budget
Social or family oriented

Great idea Tom! There is a veterans cemetery here’s couple of counties over . My family and I could do a small job for them. Thanks for the idea man! Maybe we could post pics of our projects here on this thread?

Before I moved south, several of the local companies in my area would do Arbor Day work projects. We would look for non profit organizations, Easter Seals, County Historical society etc to do the projects at. Worked well, the recipients were grateful and they fed us well.​
