the flooding of this sunken garden made for an opportune time to get rid of this tree. (it was a fun job except for getting smacked in the mouth with a branch.... then realizing it was poison ivy!!!) Check out how beautiful & healthy the hemlocks were outside the dripline. This sunken garden was formal and admirable before the flooding. The grounds crew will have it looking better than before soon.
Hey Ekka, how"s everything in Australia going? The boom is attached to a volvo V.H.D. 4 axle. (you've probably seen photos of it before) the capacity at 100 feet away from the truck is 1000 lbs. It will pick 36000 lbs right next to the truck.

Allelopathywhatnow??? Hey Mike, I've seen a bunch of pics of your crane, man that thing is Bad3*ss!!! but would it kill you to shoot some video. As Mark was getting at, you should have plenty of time between cut/operate cycles ha ha. Strictly for curiosity, how often does a boom like that get "tested"? There is just a lot of deflection. If you don't have time for the vid I guess the pics will have to do.
