Akimbo for sale, lightly used. *SOLD*

They will sell at whatever they think is the highest price it will sell at. Kind of sucks but it is what it is. I've tried a lot of gadgets and keep ending up back at my hitchclimber. Add a rope wrench when srt.

I'll buy two rr1 or bdb if the price goes that high. Kind of need one to run on my hook and another to run on my TIP line. ...I've really been hoping to get an Akimbo or two.

I think there will be a flood of mechanicals on the market one these have been out for a year or two. The rr1 should be dirt cheap by then

Still cheaper than a new I-Phone. Once all your friends buy one, and continually talk about how awesome it is. You will get one too. Its just the world we live in....we consume.
Most people in the US are stuffing their faces as fast as they can on Thanksgiving now, just so they can rush out and stand in line for cheap junk. Black Friday? Black Thanksgiving.

If I have any say in the matter they will sell for less than $400. I don't know yet how much they will cost to make, but I didn't ever plan on getting rich off the Akimbo. It is first and foremost a device that I wanted for my style of climbing with all the features I wanted in such a device. I would hate to see it retail for more than I would be willing to pay to buy one myself.

Did everyone who contributed 300 to your go fund me page get their proto type?

You are still the man, Jaime. Even if it turns out not to be possible to sell it for less than $400.00, the fact that you've expressed this sentiment does mean something.

Let's start this going the other direction everyone! If I have any say in the matter they will sell for less than $350.

But honestly Jamie, you deserve a huge check for each one of these in royalties... you deserve to BE royalty. The work that you have put into this project and your mentality has been top quality! I do hope I can afford one, but that falls second in line to my hope that you get taken care of and that these sales will ease your financial restraints and allow you to do more with your family, and more with your mind, and less of stressing about getting food on your table and a roof over you head.

Okay, I know you are not homeless and all, but you understand what I'm saying.

I also wish I had like $500 to buy this Akimbo from Gordon. In that way I would support another incredible inventor, someone I am indebted to for all the tremendous accomplishments and devices he has created! I would not feel like any amount is too high in bidding on this Akimbo, but I kind of can't be the one to use my wallet at this time to support Gordon and at the same time get one of the Limited Collectors Edition Akimbos!
Or maybe we should call them the Akimbo Collectors Edition ... and that way they could be the ACE generation!
