ABR adjustable foot loop question

Has anyone that has used it had issues with it sliding down while stepping into it? Going to try another spliced version when it gets to me and see if they are any better.....

I got one recently and discovered the same thing, so I adjusted the length to just where I want it, tied a couple of half hitches on the tail, and now it stays put.
