A Tree Motion Question

I have the swivel and the green ring that came with the TM.
Seems like when i use the swivel my rope ends up all tangled and twisted.
Mabey its the tripple axel I perform on every limbwalk.
Anyone else have this problem?

Yeah, in certain situations it twists my rope as well. I just pay more attention to my rope and try to keep it from twisting. Sometime i just have to deal with it. I find it most frustrating when doubled tied in!!!

I've been using the small gold ring form petzl, but I thing I'm going to look for a bigger one. I some times have a hard time clipping and unclipping with the small one.

Ranger, too bad you missed out on the TM.

I was told I ordered mine just a few days before the price got jacked up at Sherrill. If I saw the price it currently sits at, I would not get it either.

I know. It's crazy!!! If I climbed every day, then I would definitely go for a TM, but I don't.

I figure waiting the 3 years till I graduate and getting a new TM as a graduation present for myself won't be so bad!!

I just ordered a treemotion i am excited...I like the customization you can do and I like the pics of the setups you guys have....

If you have more I would love to see them

I have been on the treemotion for a month and change and I love it! The forman at the first tree company I worked for used one and I ragged on it and thought it was cheapy looking. Plus he's nearly 100 pounds more than me so the adjustments were way outta wack. So when I gave it a test drive it seemed no good. I just recently attended an aerial rescue workshop hosted by Marc Chisholm and Marc Bridges where I got to try on my top two choices in new saddles, the ergovation by Buckingham and Petzls sequoia. Luckily I was able to talk to some of the guys about the TM and also try it out. Im glad I did because this is without a doubt the most comfortable harness I have ever sat in. If the price is the only thing keeping you from jumping into one, I think its worth every penny. I see that this post is pretty old but if anyone reads it Id like to see more pictures of setups.

Yea almost 3 years old. Crazy. Mine is still holding up well. I messed with some of the adjustments on mine and I messed it all up. It doesn't sit right anymore. I have to re-look at it all and try again.
