A new rigging plate frome Rock Exotica

when mentioned about just running the rope threw the device, wouldn't this be harmful to the rope not having a correct bend radius?

223tree, Same intentions as I would have for any other rigging plate. except I will have to use less bieners, and my MA will have a cleaner setup.
Rickytree, You are right when it comes to having the rope do a 180, but if you are rigging the rope through it with a more open angle then there is no issues that I could see. I dont see myself running a line over any part of the bolt its self for the reason of causing unwanted wear.

I see. Thanks. Would like to see a video of it's use cuz to be honest I really don't see the use of it. But I am alittle behind the times.

NO, you are right. I watched about a minute of it. the first 5 seconds I said cool, then after that, I said, "that's stupid, it's nothing to do with tree work".

It appears to be for rock climbers with one strong anchor point and where you need multiple things going on.

But like it said, I only watch a minute or so of it and then could not watch any more, at lunch today on my phone.

I can see how that most tree guys dont use rigging plates. I have used them a bit, but then again that is just my style (doesnt make it everyones). I placed the review of it on the Buzz because I know that there are also rescue/industrial climbers on here as well. I know that there is alot of information I take from people that post on here and use it for climbing outside of tree work. I will be putting together a work video this weekend for it. Hope you all have a great labor day weekend! Climb safe.

Fairfield, it's great u take the time to show things like this. Sorry I was so negative, just not for me probably.

Hey man, everything put out on the market for climbing isnt for everyone. No need to say sorry, I think that the WR is great but I have no need for it due to I climb with a RIG, to each there own. As long as the progression of climbing is pushed forward. Climb safe.

Ya, I was going to say that. But, I have been down this road before and sometimes you just cant change the mind of a person. Personaly, I dont give it any thought as long as the bend is on a smooth object.
