650 ton crane removal including the roots

[ QUOTE ]

The two Ulmus of 75 tons was an operation in which we started preparing the rootball two years ago. Then they had two year aftercare (watering, pruning and some root stimulator). We moved them at the end of 2011. The preparation for the move took us a weak. The lifting and planting took a day. Finally we spend about two day clearing up the site and finishing up the trees.
Now we have them in aftercare for another 3 years.

Fantastic work Willem!

I gather you've read Tolkien and use the 'Treebeard' approach to transplant preparation not being something done too hastily?

That kinda patience and long term thinking is sure to increase your success rate considerably.

Very nice work and pics Willem.

Willem thanks for responding. Yes you did answer all my questions. Fair price for such a huge project. Had no clue that preparations would start 2 years prior. Very Cool!
