4 D ring saddles with VT climbing hitch

Anyone ever use a 4 D ring saddle with a Vt, or similar, hitch? Is it as affective as it would be with a floating D ring or bridge? Im not a fan of 4 D ring saddles but my coworker is. Right now he is using my couger saddle, but for comp he wants to get a 4 D ring saddle. Im just wondering if anyone even uses them at comp. I dont like them because I feel like they restrict my leg movement especially when Iv got my weight on it? WHat do some of you think?

It'll work just fine. I did it for years on a Buck Pinnical.
I found it more comfortable to seperate the two "D's" with a carabiener. It gave a similar effect to the stitched loops on a Buck Versital which I moved on to from the Pinnical.
The seperator biener does not need to be life support rated as long as you share the load between the two "D's"

Jody it is whatever u feel like u are gr8 at climbing in brother. Jamin likes the Treemotion, I like a Sequoia and Treemotion. I like the Treemomtion a bit better. Jamin is a phenomenal climber. I am not to bad myself. It is totally about being comfy in ur own skin. As I recall Dan kraus climbed in a Dring saddle 4 years and still may and he is everything I could ever hope 2 be. Dont listen 2 us climb in ur own skin. Good luck and much luv.
