Nov 24, 2012 #3 BBBTree Location CA That simple. Okay, so is this an amateur saw mechanic fix, or a pro one? And that spring/s is supposed to engage when there is inertia on the sprocket, right? It's located right where the chain brake locks on, right? Thanks, Jomoco.

Nov 27, 2012 #5 BBBTree Location CA I put a scrench on the clutch nut, and I put a length of pvc pipe over the scrench to add some length for leverage. The clutch nut broke very easily.
