Fellow tree guys — selling one of our workhorse dumps. 2016 ABU (American Builders Unlimited) 7×12 tandem axle, 14K GVWR, pintle hitch, clear title in hand. Located at our yard in Renton, WA.

If you're already running a pintle on your chip truck or a medium-duty, you know why that matters — no ball to shear off, better on uneven ground, and it just handles the abuse of real work better. That alone puts this trailer in a different category than the ball-hitch dumps you'll see on Marketplace all day.

This trailer has been on our chip-and-debris rotation almost daily. It's not a project or a barn find — it's a working piece of equipment we're only letting go because we're upgrading size.

Honest condition, tree-crew to tree-crew:

• Runs, hauls, dumps — all solid
• Frame, hoist, pump, and axles in good shape
• We keep plywood on the floor to protect the steel — base is in great shape underneath (any tree guy knows what wet chips and stump grindings do to a bare floor)
• One rear barn door is broken; we've been running a plywood panel in its place. Simple weld or replacement door
• Cosmetics are what you'd expect from a tree-company trailer that's earned its keep — scratches, dents, chipped paint

You might want to take a little closer look at that trailer, the right front tire has no tread on the outside half. That is not a road legal tire. I also see that the tarp roller assembly on the front is being held on by ratchet straps, as it has been destroyed. Any potential buyer should be worried about these details, and what else might have been overlooked when the listing was written.

Was clear and honest in the description. Never said it was pristine. The tie-downs for the tarp roller are broken, so we use straps. Here you on the tire callout (fair) although we use it daily. Hence why it's priced at $6500 OBO...
