2006 Salsco 818 chipper for sale

I just purchased this machine, but after really considering what I need I'm going to go a different route. The chipper is in excellent condition (with only 360 hours), has the Caterpillar 127 hp engine, rev auto feed, hand crank discharge, hand crank height adjustment chute, winch, and feed wheel lift cylinders. It is an 18" capacity machine and is built like a tank. It even has 1/4" thick fenders with built in vise mounts. We had the machine off the market for a little bit, but are now putting it back on. If you are looking for a very well built machine in excellent condition, this would be a good one to consider. It will compare in all aspects to a Brush Bandit 280XP or a Carlton 2018. If you need an under CDL, 18" machine - this one is an excellent choice. I am only selling it because I purchased it for a specific project that fell through, and we normally haul our debris with grapple trucks.

PS The infeed, drop-down tray was removed to allow for easier machine loading.
