2 cranes

I tried the email but it didnt work. I changed my camera for tomorrow. Hopefully that will make it easier

The software that came with the camera should have image manipulation tools with which you can resize them. That way you can leave your camera set to take high-quality pictures and you can share them without being burdensome.

This all took 1 hour from the time the second crane pulled up to the time he left. it was a fun tree to do although not huge(36" at the ground). It was my first time where we used a second crane to pick while working off the other.

Haha, not quite. Actually, there were two linemen on that little pole. They were reconnecting the service drops that that were ripped out by the falling limb.

Much easier /forum/images/graemlins/icon314.gif but as with trees sometimes it helps to ask and keep trying

After the first 1/2 fell the remaining portion was leaning over the wires. The bae of that was cracked and roots were broken on the opposite side of the lean. I didnt feel it was safe enough to handle a load if we accidentally shocked it while picking a piece off.

Nice job Mark. It's amazing how fast removels can be done with a crane. I'd like to do more of them but have very little experence. Mark if you get any more crane jobs this fall, give me a call and I drive down and give a hand. So I can see how there settup.

Where would you be coming from? The smaller crane is mine so I use it regularlly. I do have a similar tree coming up with 1/2 ove wires but it is larger. I can reach it with my bucket to make the cuts so I wont need the 2nd crane and it hasnt failed yet. But once the first 1/2 is gone I dont see the need to be in the 1/2 over the wires while picking. I love working with others. Its a great way to learn on both sides. I work with several companies in my area. Ive made good friends and it helps me out to be able to hire extra climbers when I get bigger jobs.Come on down!
