11mm vs. wrist

Im thinking If I do push ups that will stretch things out?

I went to a hand specialist physical therapist when I was having wrist tendonitis issues. He said that 2 minutes of stretching every hour would be great. Arm straight, pull fingers back, and hold. Or fingertips on the edge of the counter, palms down, lean on them to stretch. While driving, I also rotate my wrist inward/ thumbward until my finger tips are on my thigh pointing toward my navel, then straighten my arm. Stretches flexor muscles.

Also, grab your thumb with same hand's fingers (like you would never do to punch someone) and bend your wrist toward your pinky finger side/away from thumb. Stretches something along thumb.

Last, with a straight arm, bend wrist inward with other hand.
Stretches extensor muscles.

Push-ups are good for balancing all the pulling and lifting.
Rotator cuff exercises are good for protecting shoulders.

Pull my finger.

Seriously. Pull the finger.

But, for the sake of the conversation. It has been a concern of mine too. I wondered if smaller gloves could be harmful for us (long term).

My glove size is large, I climb with mediums. This works great with the blue grippies because the topside cotton weave opens and the latex palm stretches just enough.

I try the same thing with winter weight atlas gloves it squeezes and cuts off circulation.

A rock climbing shop should have some type of squeezy thing to warm up your hands before climbing. They kept me working through mega forearm burn. It's good for working out while watching tv. Also before every martial arts class wrist streches were done. How about those 2" hemp ropes we had in grade school. Nice to climb on, climbing totally with hand strength. I wonder if they could make a 23kn rope with some lightwieght filler to bring them up to 2".
