11.5mm Tachyon double eye splice

I am making Double Eye'd 11.5mm Tachyon lanyards.

3.2m, 4.2m, 5.2m etc.

They are on ebay and I can post internationally.

The splice is a FULL proper bury (cover and core), with the 3 stranded core properly reburied and tapered.

Lock stitches are crossed and locked only 1" from the throat. This method has been fully tested and passed every test.

Take a look at my website, and the links are here>> www.oceantide.co.uk

Hope this is of interest to some treebuzzers :)

Do you have much luck selling on eBay? Are the fees not killing your profit?

Fees are a pain, wish it was 5% not 10%, but its the same as paying shop rent and bills, so quite a good deal really, and if you pay off in dribs and drabs it does not hurt :)

Why don't you do like the responsible vendors who visit this site and pay for add space. We get it, you sell stuff but this place isn't your free billboard.

I asked when I joined, but no-one got back to me.

Hope someone can.

Banjo, DBT... What's wrong with using this place as a free billboard?

[/ QUOTE ]

The main way this site stays running is advertising dollars, circumventing that diminishes the sites potential for success. They are, after all, called discussion boards not free advertising boards.

Thanks Bixler.

Please no picking on me, I'm a world class splicer, and happy to pay ad costs, give honest advice, teach tricks thats no-one currently knows and offer cheap options to treebuzz members.

I'm based in the UK, and post cost is only $5 worldwide.

I'm interested in the tricks, care to elaborate?

Ah, my mistake. I'm not stuck on any splices. What measurements are you using for a locking brummel eye to eye out of interest? Got some 8mm beeline that I was going to make a hitch cord out of. Do you aim to cross the tails over?
