Nice Cameron!

We had work, we did the work, we're getting more work...How come we still broke?!

Worked outside this morning, rehabilitating rhizospheres. Rain came so working inside, stringing words together and crunching numbers, for pleasure and profit.

How much is a dying oak near the road really worth????

I my be here during the day tomorrow. Calling for 18 to 24 inches tonight, and tomorrow. With 30 to 40 mile winds. It will be the first down day for weather in over a year.

I've been working every other day, and most have been half days. Bust [censored] half days. I prefer to do 7 hours worth of work in 5 hours.

Its starting to get busier.

Everthing here is covered in snow and ice. Just a few broken limbs here, not a major ice storm. I'm sitting this one out.

Cameron I didnt see much bracing on the trusses. Ive seen them blow over several times in the past. Is that your crane? Getting hammered in snow 18" - 36" predicted

We have braces on both sides as well as on the peak. There is strapping on each one tieing it into the house. I thought that was enough? I had a builder we set trusses for before and he had all his trusses go down like dominos. That was before I did his lifts, I guess they didn't had braces in place.

P.S that is our crane getting snowed on. It is usually under the leanto, but I had to put the log truck there to be worked on. I ripped four hydralics lines off by the grapple doing something stupid. That's a whole another story.

We were hit pretty hard with the ice storm in my area. I just got a call from my neighbor that our power is finally back on. It was out for about 36 hrs. I can't imagine how bad it is for people who suffer real storms.

All day I look at the trees we're cleaning up and wonder why that one broke but the twin next to it didn't. Some easy signs on some, but not so easy on others. Busy few weeks here I'm sure.
