Here's one of those the more things change, the more they stay the same commentaries that I wrote some 18 years ago. Seems to fit the circumstances and reoccurring themes.
18 years. My, how time flies when you're not giving up.

Full disclosure: This was my first required essay for a scholarship with the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW). I served a five-year apprenticeship with a seniority date of 1965. I also became an ISA Certified Arborist (1991) IL-521. (Both retired) (Sometimes articulate) (Never quiet)
